#2 Foothills of The Rockies

Enjoy sampling beer while touring the Coors Brewery. Travel 2000 feet (610m) up the Lariat Trail Scenic and Historic Byway to the top of Lookout Mountain while viewing a breathtaking 200 mile (320km) panorama. Visit the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave (admission included). See American Bison (Buffalo). Enjoy a beautiful walk while witnessing the majesty of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater.

#3 The Summer Ultimate Mountain Trip

Travel through rugged Clear Creek Canyon on your way up the highest paved road in North America into the Mount Evans Wilderness Area (admission included) where you will reach an altitude of over 12,800 feet (3,900m) at Summit Lake. See breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, view bighorn sheep and mountain goats in their natural environment. Stop for lunch in Idaho Springs, a real old-western town, before returning back to Denver.

#4 Rocky Mountain National Park in Summer

Cross-over the Continental Divide twice during this adventure through one of America’s most treasured parks. Visit the mountain village of Estes Park and explore the multitude of souvenir shops. Walk to a waterfall or around an alpine lake. Witness beautiful meadows and discover fragile alpine tundra. See incredible mountain views as you travel 11 miles (17.6km) above timberline while reaching an elevation of 12,183 feet (3,715m) on Trail Ridge Road. Enjoy a picnic lunch while surrounded by pristine mountain scenery. Observe a variety of wildlife including herds of grazing elk and yellow-bellied marmots. Great half-day Rocky Mountain adventure. Trace the steps of the 1859 Pikes Peak or Bust gold rush while seeing rugged canyons, old western towns, and beautiful mountain scenery. Experience the beautiful Rocky Mountains as you reach an altitude of nearly 8,900 feet (2,713m) on the picturesque Central City Parkway.

Reservation and Departure Information

Reservations are required in advance. Unless along our tour route, passenger pick-up for all daily individual tour is from all downtown Denver hotels, Union Station at 1701 Wynkoop Street, and our offices at 469 S. Cherry Street. Morning and full-day adventures begin 8-8:30 am; afternoon adventures 12:45-1:30 pm. Private and group adventures leave at request. A credit card is required to make and hold reservations for all sightseeing adventures and services.   Full-price cancellation charges for individual daily adventures will be assessed if the trip is canceled by the guest less than 24 hours prior to departure. If cancelled by us – no cancellation fee.

Adventures include a knowledgeable, friendly guide, clean, comfortable touring vehicles, snacks and drinks, the price of admission to all included sites, and park entrance fees. Please bring a jacket, comfortable shoes, cameras, sunscreen, umbrellas, sunglasses, and binoculars. Driver/Guide gratuities not included (15%-20% of tour price recommended).

The Colorado Sightseer reserves the right to cancel or change any tour, schedules or prices, and to cancel or substitute stops on any tour without notice. In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not met tours may be cancelled.
