Reservation and Departure Information |

Reservations are required in advance Unless along our tour route, passenger pick-up is from all downtown Denver hotels, Union Station at 1701 Wynkoop Street, and our offices at 7290 Samuel Drive. Morning and full-day adventures begin 8-8:30 am; afternoon adventures 12:45-1:30 pm. Private and group adventures leave at request. A credit card is required to make and hold reservations for all sightseeing adventures. Full-price cancellation charges for individual daily adventures will be assessed if the trip is canceled less than 24 hours prior to departure. If cancelled by us - no cancellation fee. Adventures include a knowledgeable, friendly guide, clean, comfortable touring vehicles, snacks and sodas, the price of admission to all included sites, and park entrance fees. Please bring a jacket, comfortable shoes, cameras, sunscreen, umbrellas, sunglasses, and binoculars. Driver/Guide gratuities not included (10%-15% recommended). Note of Caution: The Pikes Peak Region, Summer and Winter Ultimate Mountain Trips, and Rocky Mountain National Park tours are not for the faint hearted. The air is very thin and sudden changes in the weather are not uncommon on the alpine tundra. Snow is possible at any time and summertime thunder showers are frequent. Summer daytime temperatures often do not exceed 60 degrees and can plummet with the arrival of a cloud or the stirring of wind. Dress warmly and always bring a jacket or sweater when visiting the mountains.Exposure to the sun is 40% greater above timberline than it is at sea level and only 40% of the oxygen is available. Everyone, regardless of the elevation they are accustomed to, may be short of breath or have less energy at high elevations. While most people will not be adversely affected, persons with health problems such as heart disease or asthma should be strongly cautioned against the effects of high altitude. Hours of Operation During the Summer season, from May 1 to October 31, we answer our phones from 7:00 am. to 9:00 pm. During the Winter season November 1 to April 30, we answer our phones from 7:00 am. to 7:00 pm. The Colorado Sightseer, Inc. also has an answering system available during off-hours so your message or reservation can be received 24 hours a day. |

Transportation We operate our daily sightseeing tours out of deluxe 8 to 15 passenger vans and mini-busses. We like to work with smaller groups on these tours so we can get you out to see, learn, and explore Denver and Colorado. Private Tours Any tour can be arranged as a private tour at a rate of $500 per van for a full-day tour and $375 per van for a half-day tour for up to 14 passengers. Please call (800) 255-5105 for quotes for larger groups. Tours can also be arranged in advance for sightseeing, skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, cycling, horseback riding, and dinner or evening tours. Cancellation Policy Full-price cancellation charges for individual daily tours will be assessed if the sightseeing trip is canceled by the guest less than 24 hours prior to departure. If cancelled by us - no cancellation fee. Group and private tours have a 30 day cancellation period unless otherwise negotiated. Objectionable Persons The Colorado Sightseer, Inc. reserves the right to refuse to transport any person under the influence of drugs or intoxicating liquor; or who is incapable of taking care of self; or is conducting self in a disorderly manner; or is suffering from a contagious disease; or, whose conduct is or may be objectionable, or dangerous to other passengers or the driver. Exception: This rule shall not apply to invalids accompanied by a nurse or attendant. |
